Does anyone go into preterm labor without being high risk? I'm overweight and I have mild gd but nobody has ever said I'm high risk? I'm don't think I'm in labor yet or anything but is it possible?

Yeah I got antibiotics because they found it so early they want it gone by labor because I'm already extremely high risk
Huh.. And they don't normally give anti biotics for it until you're in labor. They do it through an iv. That's weird lol @marie213 learn something new everyday I guess
Mines popped up in my pee after I lost my mucus plug , so idk if that why but Ik they called me and prescribed some different medicine
What??? But they have a specific test for it that they do at like 36-37 weeks? Why would they do the test if they can find it in your pee?? @marie213 nobody wants to get swabbed by a big qtip down there unless they have to!
Why did you get tested for gbs so early? I'm not having that done for 10-17 more days?? @marie213
I might go in anyday lost my mucus plug at 31 weeks , 2 days , been having lots of contractions ever since , I have pregnancy anemia , tested positive for group b strep but might be going on bed rest soon
@bri28, yep I have to test four times a day and I found out at 27. Weeks that I had gd and I started out watching everything I ate but my numbers are so perfect I don't watch what I eat at all and they are still awesome. Except when I eat fruity pebbles. Those are bad. Really bad. And I've been measuring right on schedule too
Nah, I dont need meds either. Just have to poke myself 4 times a day and monitor my carbs (which sucks by the way lol). My OB said my uterus measures 2 to 3 weeks ahead so she send me to do u/s and they said I have too much amniotic fluid. So my belly is ginormous! But yeah, only by ultrasound
When they do the ultrasound they measure how much fluid is in there
Do you have to take Meds for your gd? Cause I got an ultrasound at 20 weeks and that's it. The last dr I had wasn't even gonna give me an ultrasound but I had to switch Drs for other reasons and she's doing one for the gender and growth. @bri28 my dr won't let me go over just because of the gd. How can you tell how much amniotic fluid is in there? Is it just by u/s?
@mrsschutte1323, yea, they give me ultrasounds every week too just to see if he's big, but he measures just fine. I hope I go into labor soon. The sooner, the better. I'm due in 3 weeks and the doc doesn't want me to go over the due date cause of the amniotic fluid. Mehhhh

Well even the high risk dr thing nobody has ever mentioned it. My baby is in position and I have a u/s in 10 days to see how big the baby is and find out the gender but so far everything has been fine except the gd
@mrsschutte1323, same here. I just found out about the gd last week. I also have too much amniotic fluid and have to see a high risk Doctor every week now until the baby comes, but I'm not considered high risk.
Any high risk pregnancy mamas here ? I'm still early in my pregnancy but since I'm high risk I have appointments every week sometimes two times a week I'm already over it 😩
are any mommies to be high-risk? I am because of my kidney disease. With my first child I didn't have high risk because I didn't have my disease but now I'm always worried.

With my son my water broke at 32 weeks and I was not having any signs of going into labor. He stayed in for 2 1/2 more days then I had him. @mrsschutte1323
