My husbands co worker got in a horrible car accident and is in the icu.. We donated money to them he's a great single father but we know he probably won't be doing any shopping . We are going to send gifts over for his twin 11 year old girls .Any great ideas for that age range ?? (We never met the girls but my husband really wants to make Christmas special for them)
Yes that's a good idea too . I wish I knew them more personally I don't even know there names or what they look like . He's Just a guy from my husbands job and he's not close with the guy but just wanted to do something nice and when he told me I though that was so sweet and generous of him plus I get to shop lol @tae23
oh yeah that would be then lol. I remember visiting my dad when he was in the hospital when I was younger all I wanted was snacks and something fun to do. so that would be my biggest suggestions. good luck though. im sure they will all love whatever you put together. also it's a long shot but you could try calling the pediatric unit there and explain what happened. they could probably bring them some books or something for while he's there.
We don't know them like that he's just a co worker of my husbands so it would be awkward to take them for the dad I'm sure. Or that would be a great idea plus I do all that I'm a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist I could do a whole spa day for them but I doubt they want to leave the hospital since they have had school and want to be with there dad but yes those are great gift ideas I'm going to just get a mixture of all those ideas and my husband will take it to them @tae23
or see if you can take them for part of the day and get their makeup done and a mini shopping spree or to pick out something special from each of them for their dad
makeup kits. travel lotion and soap from bath and body works. games to play when they are at the icu with their dad. coloring books snacks.
Omg those are all great ideas !!! Thank you :) @sandycheeks
maybe like the bath sets or perfume sets like from walmart. coloring books. maybe an easy bake oven😊 i seen some at walmart
Oh yeahhhhh frozen is a big deal ! Thank you see this is why I need y'all great idea @lilmonma33
dolls and anything frozen every little girl loves that movie
@momma588, yes that's what I'll do is dolls and a bunch of little knick knacks plus there twins so they can share or pick and choose . And I'll put gift receipts in case they don't like it and have access to retuning it
aww that is so sweet of you Both. there should be more people out there like you.
but yea the dolls and stuff I think they would like. even the mail polish idea is good. I hope it will all, work out. those girls deserve a great Xmas. as well as there father. he's in my prayers. @babybermea
@calebsmommy, perfect !! That's what I'm going to shoot for :) bc those are things I had in mind too thank you 💗💙🙌🏽
dolls, play make-up, nail polish, clothes, tablets or books.
See we thought of gift. Cards but there father can't drive and they live with him and have no family here and we donated money to the dad already but my husband wants to buy them gifts this was all his idea which I think is sweet and thoughtful and I don't think he wants to tell them were buying stuff he just wants to show up with the gifts bc I thought that too maybe some winter clothes or cute outfits . Dolls are a good idea ! @momma588
I was thinking nail polish little makeup sets ? And then some bigger items but I don't know any one 11 lol so I have no clue . And other then money or a gift card I want them to be able to unwrap gifts
giving is the best joy in life! God bless your family. :)
maybe some Barbie dolls? or maybe if you can get there size in clothes. get them some cute outfits. or maybe even a gift card to there favorite store?
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

My husband took them on his iPhone lol I did make up and hair....we need to save money 🤣🤣🤣
Any suggestions on announcing pregnancy to unhappy in laws? We are pregnant with our fourth baby, but we have never received a positive reaction, even with our first, who was the first grand baby. Not that it matters, but we were married, and in our own home with our first, so no reason to be so negative other than “they weren’t ready to be grandparents”. With my second my MIL said she was not excited at all, but not to tell my husband she said that, never mind that she was saying it to your now...
Trying to convince my husband that we NEEEED a kitchen aid mixer 😅
that's awesome of you and your husband. most people wouldn't care at all.
