Who told you you're not a good mom because you don't breastfeed? Society will find anyway for us to feel like bad moms. It's really annoying. We grew a baby. We take care of it to the best of our abilities and do not neglect our kids at all. We are the best moms

Also I only breastfed my son for like 2 weeks because we both had difficulty with it and I honestly don't think I'll even try with my second. Who cares.

When people ask if I breastfeed or formula and when I say formula they always look at me with disgust and then this mom on here said that breastfeed babies are better and stuff like that

They always ask and it's never really any of their business anyways. It's also like when I tell people I had a csection instead of a vaginal delivery, they look at me like what did I do wrong and why couldn't I do it the right way. Like excuse me. You do not know my circumstances. People ask way to many inappropriate questions and then make you feel like shit about it. It's none of their business from the beginning.

@arich13, Believe it or not a lot of ignorant people think that, which personally makes no sense to me because a Bad mother to me would be a mother who doesn't feed her child at all. At least you tried and it didn't work so you found other means to feed your child like a good mother 😊

Exactly. What people don't understand is that even though one way didn't work, our kid is still thriving. Happy healthy babies. That is all that matters. As mothers we will do anything ANYTHING for our kids and I think people forget that also. I remember when I got pregnant with my son, my husbands family started saying how they didn't think I would be a good mom (wtf right??) but now they see me and see how sweet and happy my son is and that's the slap in the face they needed. Like who do they think they are are??

You aren't a bad mother and ppl are dumb yes we all know breast milk is best but a lot of women can't breast feed I tried for a month due to my son being born at 35 weeks we had a lot of obstacles in our way and I ended up drying up. A bad mother don't fed their child or don't have their child. ppl are one sided and never want to see the other side of things. Formula fed babies are fed and they develop great just like a breast fed baby. don't be hard on yourself or let a ignorant one sided person make you feel bad about yourself
