I'm so confused my due date is 42 weeks? when I counted my real due date should be July 9. Can someone explain this to…

Wow, that would be confusing! I bet your due date is more like the beginning of July. As you get farther along and have another ultrasound they will get more accurate with date. How frustrating not knowing though @kbuggie20

@mamabee, @wyatts_mommy_0106 I just called my OB we said that's normal that most due dates are 42 weeks because the baby is 40 weeks then whatever that means

October 24,2015 when I ovulated and the ultrasound but she told me the baby was on track which means my due date shouldn't be 2 weeks extra-,-@mamabee my last period was over 3 months that would put my due date in June so because they knew when I ovulated do to checking with blood that's why they went off of

I told them when I ovulated and had the test the went off October 24 but that still doesn't explain why it's 42 weeks that makes no sense. @wyatts_mommy_0106

they go off the first day of your last period cause they can't tell you exactly when you conceived that's how they determine your due date

but they claimed its july 30, but counting 40 weeks is July 9 @mamabee that's why I'm so confused

ml buggie20, there usually right on the dates going by the ultrasound. You may have a 4th of July baby!

@wyatts_mommy_0106, they said the baby is measuring 7w4days that's the last time I went and that's what day I was on

I'd go off what you calucated and next time you go ask them to measure the baby and see if they get the same due date as what you say it is

my due date isn't from my last period it's from not ovulation I ovulated late, the date they gave nme was July 30 that's 42 weeks away July 9 is 40 weeks away

Your due date should be 40 weeks from your 1st day of your last period. Unless they change it due to your ultrasound.

yeah I've been to the doctor. 3 times have 3 different ultrasounds. they went off of when I ovulated. but it still makes no sense to me, tgats 42 weeks. @wyatts_mommy_0106

no i counted to 40 from 8 weeks and its July 9, my due date from the doctor is July 30, but that's 42 weeks away?! that's normally when they induce?

have you been to your Dr yet? if so did they go off your last period or the measurement of your baby?

I don't understand fully. Did you get a different due date by your doctor?
