has anyone else heard of inserting primrose oil on your cervix to induce labor?

I hope your not trynna induce labor this early .

NOOOO definitely not! my sister was doing it and it just doesn't seem safe to me so I was wondering if it's actually a thing.

also it doesn't induce labor it just helps soften your uterus and cause dilation if your body is ready

yes! I don't take it daily or insert it daily like I should because I forget :x but out of the week that I had it and the 4 times I had taken it and the 3 I had inserted it I dilated to a 1.

is it a jel capsule? do you poke a hole in it and insert it or how exactly does it work? sorry I have so many questions lol my due date is 3 days after my birthday so im trying to find ways to naturally and safely get things going lol I still have more then enough time before but research doesn't hurt :p

I never poke holes in mine but I take 3 ans insert 3, wear a panty liner or a pad because the oil does leak out. try to insert them as far up near your cervix as possible or get your husband or boyfriend to do it. you can poke a hole in one and kinda use the gel as lube so it doesn't hurt if you're a little dry down there putting them in there. I bought mine from Walmart and they come in 500mg or 1000mg capsules all mine had was 1000mg capsules
