Really random question but I'm so scared to get an epidural are there any other options for pain…

They have the oxygen machine kind of like what they give you at the dentist. I used it during contractions it helped alittle but not a lot.

I felt the same but damn my contractions were crazzzzy my doc didn't even ask me he knew I wanted it lol but when it came to push I felt EVERYTHING

I'm hate getting poked around so I was opting out for a epi as well but i gave up bc the gas nor some medicine they would put in the iv was not cutting it out. At the end I would say the IV hurt more than the epidural.

I tried a pain med through my IV and it didn't work at all. Epidural was the best thing ever.

Yeah but it doesn't touch the pain of contractions and can reduce the baby's breaths per min. I would say if you want pain meds get the epi.

I HATEEE needles of any kind and that one was the worse looking one 😕 I thought not to get it but honestly it is worth it to not feel the pain. You will forget all about it once it's in there.
