LABOR STORY ! 👶👶👶👶

yesterday on 12/17/15, I went in at noon for my induction.

they started me on pitocen shortly after! I was dilated to a 4 when I came in. the contractions started coming but weren't anything unbearable! My midwife came in at 5, and broke my water at 6. I was dilated to about a 5 by then! 😊 after my water was broken, the contractions got SO much stronger. and we're hurting me so bad! but they said they didn't want to give me an epidural until I was around 6cm. the pain was so unbearable I had to get some medicine that would take the edge off of the contractions! I forget what its called, but it makes you super sleepy! and feel drunk. lol that literally lasted me 20 minutes and I had contractions again! But this time they were SOOOOO SOOOOO painful! I literally was balling my eyes out begging for the epidural. it seemed like they took a lifetime to finally give it to me! she checked me when I told her the pains were getting worse. and said I was at about a 6. by the time they got the epidural set up and waiting for it to kick in, she was starting to come out and I was fully dilated. I felt all of the pains prior to actually pushing. at the end I only pushed for about 20 minutes. (: and my baby girl was here. no tears. no anything! labor lasted from 6pm-8:42pm. 2 hours and 42 minutes. 😊 It was most definitely the worst pain I have ever felt in my entire life. but it was so worth it. my baby girl is so precious!
