@mareesan, I always tell people to be positive BUT I'm also realistic and realize the first trimester is too touchy for me to tell too many people.

Or I tell people to wait until the 15w mark because you're finally out of the first trimester and your risk of miscarriage drastically drops.

I announced at 12 or 13 weeks

I didn't mention it till I was 3 months along....

@sweetmommy26, I'm just extra cautious. I was high risk with my daughter and this time I had a subchorionic hemorrhage and started bleeding at 11w so I was like I'm definitely waiting before I tell people! That anatomy scan is no joke. They literally check EVERYTHING! So after I got that done I felt safe enough to tell people outside my family.

@jessica0830, I think like that sometimes.. Sometimes I say ama announce it when I know the gender.. Lol but I'm still undecided

Not until after my 20w ultrasound. Wanted to wait until I got all of my test results and make sure everything with baby was ok.

My mom found out when I was 6 weeks because I had to go to the hospital for a kidney infection. But we told everyone else soon after that

i know i guess i listen to people too much which makes me over think u know. like telling me to work even tho i dont have to because my work stressed me out to the point i would have anixety and its my miracle baby i want to enjoy it all from my sickness to my belly growing to my labor its a beautiful moment even if i will waddle soon lol. ive had my sonogram already with a hb of 155 and moving like crazy at 8 weeks and only 2 more weeks till my second app:) and we are keeping it as a secret from him mom until christmas day with one of the sonograms in her present:) lol

I waited until I had my first sonogram at 14 weeks :) but I told immediate family as soon as my test was positive

I did right away once I found out lol I wanted to keep it a secret so bad, but I was so excited I couldn't wait! lol (:

When I found out so about 6 weeks. I believe in good energy and wasn't going to let negative doubt about "the rules" on when or how long you should wait to tell people

ill be 10 weeks by christmas and 11 by my birthday lol only people close to me know but i want to post all over facebook haha!
