You *usually* don't have to rush to the hospital. Once my contractions started at noon I left work and headed home to clean the house a bit then I got to the hospital at 3:00 pm. I still didn't get admitted until 6:30 pm. Didn't have my son until 3:00 am the next day. Most times you have plenty of time to get where you need to be. Seems to be rare that it's super urgent. Try not to stress about it. But it's always good to have a plan.

all are different my sister's first baby was born short after she went into labor I wouldn't risk anything 911 lol
