Is anyone pregnant and taking thyroid medicine?
@rmo_hernac, thank you. That's very helpful!
@arich13, no it doesn't affect anything. My labs are drawn every 4 weeks. It actually helps with your pregnancy. I did IVF so I was on it long before getting pregnant. If I wasn't trying to get pregnant I wouldn't be on it. My RE said my levels need to be at 2.5 and below. I'm at 2 at my last draw. No side effects. I was instructed to take it first thing in the a.m. And wait 30 minutes before eating & wait 4 hours before taking any supplements. I usually take my vitamins in the evening as it's easier on my body to tolerate.
I've been taking levothroxyn my whole life , during pregnancy i get a higher MG tho. I think I'm taking like 159 MG now.
Im on synthroid, I've never had issues with my thyroid until this pregnancy! 😡 but I get blood tests every 3 weeks to test levels. @arich13
