my body rejected the mirena I guess due to hormones I got a dry patch on my forehead no sex drive bled for a month and a half before I had awful cramps and found it coming out. 3 weeks later boom baby ohh well now I will have Irish twins.

@ryennsmomma, but I hear thugs about depo too. Guess we will just do what we have to do until we want another baby bc this is depressing

that's why I liked the idea of it so we could have sex with no condoms but I'm not liking what I hear about it so I think I'm gonna go with the depo shot because I can't remember to take a pill everyday.

@rut nnsmomma, mines said the same lol. I'm mad bc I got it to have unprotected sex with my husband now I can't even have sex at all wtf. I much rather use condoms and take that dumb ass pill

@ryennsmomma, the only other birth control I've been on besides the Mirena is the pill. I always forget to take it so me and my husband just use condoms. lol ya the implants are great IF they work for the person but not for me and I've read worst stories about it online. the depo shot is what I might go with because that u only need to get every 3 months and that's it. but I'm not 100% sure yet. don't forget every birth control has its side effects. it just depends on how your body reacts to it.

My doctor made it sound like Mirena was the best... she even said it would take away my period.

I used the paraguard iud. its made of copper & has zero hormones in it. loved it. & people say it can make your periods heavier but didn't happen to me

I have mirena and I have been considering getting it removed even thou I haven't had it long. I hate it but I have been bleeding for almost 2 months

In the past I have like the ortho evera patch because I can't swallow pills. I am going to look into the depo shoot after this guy is born.

do you think the depo shot would be good? I don't really want to have a birth control implanted it kinda seems risky.

I tried Mirena, but it didn't stay in its place. I had to have it surgically removed. I happen to be someone who apparently has a flat uterus so it won't work for me.

I had the Mirena and I hated it. I had to have it removed because of serious stomach pains and some months I wouldn't bleed but then I would bleed like crazy for a month straight. I also had no sex drive while on it. when I went to get it removed I had to argue with the doctors about getting it out. they kept telling me I was fine, but I know my body and I knew I wasn't fine. I will never get birth control that is implanted.

yea my sister recommended the Mirena and I ended up with about 5 cysts on my left ovary and only found out about them because 2-3 ended up bursting and I was in severe pain.
