What kinds of solid foods do you ladies give to a 6 month old? Usually I give my son Gerber but Evans pediatrician said he's ready for stage 2 solids! I can only think of mashed potatoes lol any ideas?

stage 2 ? isnt that baby food. they have different stages. you pick from the baby foods thats stage2

@sandycheeks, you might be right but he was talking about increasing the texture? It would be basically the same thing right just with an increase in texture?

the stage too has extra texture because its pretty much just not as blended up so it is thicker. but you can feed your baby mashed potatoes. maybe if you cook any kind of beans smach them up a little and give him.

@evansmommy, Sweet potatoes,mashed carrots,little pieces of plain white chicken,cereal ,white rice ,baked bread,these are the things I've fed my son
