am I the only one who is excited to breast feed for first time? I had a very really and vivid dream like 5 wks ago and have been learning and reading everything I can about breast feeding after having chest surgery. I was discouraged and told I probably couldn't breast feed with my 1st 2 kids so I am determined to try this time!

I had a reduction 14 years ago. My milk didn't come in with my 1st two. Is there a way to "make" it come in?

Yes I'm also looking forward to the experience! I have both of my nipples pierced so I'm a little concerned about my milk ducts being blocked. But I really can't wait to have that bond with my little girl 😊😊😊

I am not sure @bubblebeck it depends if they cut through the milk ducts when they did the reduction. I plan to speak to a lactation consultant.

I think I'm going to talk to one, too. I'm really not sure if they did cut through them. It would be awesome if I could BF though! Let me know what they tell you. :)

Lactation consultants are the best! I would recommend speaking to one before and during. they're a great source of information and support. I had one with my first daughter when I tried breastfeeding.
