A question for mommies with babies that have acid reflux?! Im thinking about switching my daughters bottles! Think about the Avent bottles? Then theres something about playtex drop ins? But i do kind of like that playtex bottle that curves! Then they putting cereal in her milk . Buts that a whole other subject . She has meds. So i dont think im going to do the cereal! ADVICE PLEASE!??

@brooklynmommy1008, try the pletex vent aire bottles they work wonderful my son gets pretty bad gas and starts screaming and these bottles helped that slot
Well guys i do appreciate all of your help . I do . I think im just going to keep her on her meds & switch her bottle to a different one . Her medicine is free so thats no prob. I never want to give her cereal . Dont want her to be constipated then that would be another problem she would have to suffer . @jaericoboys @lwb41215
1once or less will really help. I waisted so much money on reflux med and mommy's bliss gripe water which I used whole bottles daily it seemed like. one ounce of tea baby was so calm and stoped throwing up and passed gas.
@brooklynmommy1008, yes mine was 2m at the time too. I don't have to trust me but instead of waisting money on meds when that natural leaf works wonders. I used on both my sons and wtf is tea gonna do kill them no 👎. ask your doctor read up on it and make your own decision
I personally wouldn't try tea. I have been told from several nurses and drs tea (even if it is chamomile ) is not good for babies. if she isn't losing any weight I definitely wouldn't do rice. they told me to and my sons weight sky rocketed. if the medicine is already helping then you are doing just fine momma.
Well she has been on the meds for mhmm 3 days now . & she seems alittle better she spit up yesterday . But that was because her day was playing with her & he didnt know she had just ate! No she is not losing anyway . She just (before the meds) spat up a whole lot & was very fussy . She still is alittle fussy. & im thinking about going with avent or playtex @lwb41215
my son had reflux wouldn't take any bottles but avent. they worked really well for him. is your baby losing much weight? the medicine will work if you give it time. but if you miss giving the meds one time it usually took a little bit to slow down vomiting again.
before you switch anything try giving your baby 2oz to 4oz a day Camomile tea.
Her dr recommended it . But i said i wont . Sooo. But im using formula . & her dr also said to keep her on the same formula.
I wouldn't do cereal in the bottle. The aap recommends nothing but formula or breastmilk until at least 6 months and putting it in the bottle is a choking hazard. I've heard dr. Browns bottles are great for reflux babies. Also invest in a good baby carrier. Keep babe upright for at least an hour after feedings. Are you pumping or feeding formula? If formula, have you tried other kinds?
My son uses Avent bottles. They work fine for him. But every baby is different.
I have never done rice in the bottle. Why do you think you need that?
The meds take about five days to start working FYI . My son has it and actually once he had the medicine his bottles were fine. We are using Doctor brown
