So I have an appointment on the 30th I'll be 25 weeks and 2 days. Anyone know what they will do? Glucose test maybe? They didn't say anything about it at my last doctors appointment.
You couldn't find a babysitter?! Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyway. Am I the only one? Is that a weird thing to do? Do most moms find babysitters?

more than likely. it has to be done before 28 weeks. I go for mine on friday

I took mines last week and they didn't tell me anything about the week before. they supposed to tell you when they will have you to do it,but my Dr didn't. I passed though

they never told me about mine, but had me drink it at 26 weeks. i dont know what flavors they offer where you go but i had the orange one and it really isnt that bad.

my sister said it tastes like a melted otter pop or other kind of popsicle and my ob said others have told her it tastes like thick koolaid

They should do it at your 28 week appointment. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be. It is important because if you do have GD & don't control it properly, your baby will grow too fast & you'll end up with a baby twice as large to deliver. I took mine yesterday.
