Ok I'm not sure these ladies have said this stuff already but my nutritionist told me a few tips to produce more milk when I was still pregnant and they seem to be working I never produce less then 8 ounces. Drink water while your pumping (don't ask me why that seems to help but it does) drink non-alcoholic beer something they put in it is like a super good for producing milk, take fish oil or eat fish that's not high in Mercury, also you can purchase lactation cookies ( I haven't done the cookie thing yet) but she sore they work. That's what's working for me i hope this helps. I added a picture of the non-alcoholic beer I buy
That is more than I could ever pump out. You are doing good. My milk dried up after 2 months and I was devastated. Just keep trying I know it's hard, but it will be easier to build your supply up now than if you wait and let it get too low. My mistake was supplementing with formula too often. He liked the bottle and wasn't nursing as often as my body needed to get my supply going. A tip that I have is to nurse for every single feeding and if he is not satisfied after nursing both breasts for a while, then give the formula. And your baby nursing actually works a lot better than pumping to signal your body to produce more. & Good job! :) also you can rent a double electric pump from the hospital! I think it is $30 for 2 weeks.
@kreeblim woooow!!! 8 oz?!?? I want to be like you!! At this point I'll take at least 4 oz. right now I only make about 2-3 oz every pump session but that's when I was doing it once a day!! Starting today I'm gonna pump every time I nurse! @Rachelt1993 ive been using formula too but since Monday I've gotten him down to 4-5 bottles a day 2 oz each!! I'm gonna pump and nurse more so I'll be exclusively breastfeeding!! Thanks ladies for the advice
