So I previously was a dancer before I got pregnant & had my daughter, I just had my baby girl 11 days ago & My husband's mother keeps trying to tell me how to raise & take care of my daughter, do I say anything ? no ? She even wants to see my daughter everyday & it agitates me because I just had a c section & I'm breastfeeding . She even tells him "you sure the baby is yours, the baby is lightskinned " .. she even says how come the baby look like you and not him. I'm caramel complexion & my husband is med dark skin . he's Jamaican & I'm Puerto Rican & Trini. I'm starting to not even want her in me or babies life anymore . She doesn't even want me or my husband & baby spend holidays with JUST our little family. :/ so aggravated !

She shouldn't be talking to you like that. I'd set her straight. and the whole are you sure the baby is yours is bs. that's me the day I gave birth. almost two months ago and she's still that white. She shouldn't be treating you likethat. Your family. Your baby. Your choices. Your traditions. Not hers.

That is very rude of her 😕 I'm sorry you have to go through that! Just because the baby looks like you and not him doesn't mean it isn't his, some babies come out looking like mommy and grow up and start to look like daddy. When I was born I didn't look like either of my parents, I looked like a Asian baby with extremely white skin but now I look 100% like my mom lol But maybe sit her down and talk to her and tell her you don't appreciate her negativity, or just ignore her because at the end of the day you know what's right 😊
