We had Jax Henry at 7:29 am on 12-14. I went into labor on his due date at 10:30PM at home. I was having pooping pains but nothing major and decided to wake my SO up at 11:30PM because I couldn't concentrate to sleep. Got to the hospital about 12 AM and was checked at 1AM, due to an emergency happening with another patient when we walked in, I was at a 3 and pain tolerance was good. At 3AM I was checked again and at a 5 1/2...My water broke at 4:30AM and contractions were stacked on top of each other and terrible. I started to have trouble breathing because I had no breaks and both my dad abd fiance were getting scared and upset so I finally decided to go with an epidural. I got an epidural at 5-5:30AM and was checked immediately after and I was at a 7. They let me rest for a bit but I couldn't sleep, so she checked me at 6:30AM and I was at a 10..My doctor was phoned and things were being set up. I pushed twice to crown when my doctor got there and then made 4 giant pushes and delivered at 7:29AM. I had him immediately placed on my stomach with goo and all and didn't even get to really see him because I was crying so hard from being happy. I held him for 30 minutes while they cleaned him up and then Justin carried him to the cleaning table. I started breastfeeding and he latched really good. He was doing pretty well I thought and we could of gone home today but he lost 10% of his weight so they are having me supplement formula and they are monitoring his weight. Other than that he has been doing super great and is really quite. I'm extremely sore but trucking through it and super happy he is here 😊
