I've heard many ppl say that when you get pregnant/have kids yu start to lose friends but I never thought it would put a strain on my friendship w my best friend. I just feel like she has not been a good friend to me for the past 4 months. I know she has things going on in her own life but she doesn't even call to talk to me abt stuff like she used to and then she's always out w her other friends. i feel forgotten . maybe I'm being jealous and bratty but we have always been much more closer than this. it's really bothering me

I went through this with my first. I think it's harder the younger you are because people tend to be more into their partying days. It will show you who your true friends are

@mycherrybaby, I wouldn't let it get you down. I understand it's upsetting for sure, I lost my best friend of 17 years over my pregnancy so I feel your frustration. But in a couple weeks you'll have a new bestie that will call you mom :)

know this feeling all too well...lost a couple friends with my first and now I'm slowing loosing another with this pregnancy....no biggie we ya friends on here!!!

I know how you feel. I lost my best friend completely after my third pregnancy, and we were like sisters too. :-/ I still find myself thinking I need to tell her something, or share a funny picture and I can't. it sucks.

She may come back around hun. She may be intimidated about your new life now, maybe she feels like she doesn't fit into it anymore? Not that you're doing anything wrong at all. I wouldn't write her off completely yet, she could still come around. It's hard losing good friendships and if you consider her a sister maybe give her some time?
