my 7 month old son has very bad constipation. ive given him 2oz of water daily.... he also gets prunes daily and i give him prune juice mixed with water his poop is still very hard and he cries. he only gets 2 breastmilk bottles a day and the rest are formula (which is powdered) do to my lack of supply. he also eats stage 2 baby foods. what else can i do to stop the constipation and to prevent it?

also, I know this is kinda gross but if you rub Vaseline on his bottom it will make the poop slide out a little easier. its gross but it will help.
definitely dilute it with water, can't believe I didn't mention that lol. put it in a sippy or bottle, whatever he drinks out of. it tastes sweet, he will probably like it
give him a spoonful of Karo syrup, its just corn syrup and you can buy it at Walmart. I used it with my kids and it works.
