What's everyone's experience with fenugreek pills!?

@steph11, I'm gonna take them just to get my supply up. Pump as much as I can. Not feed it to the baby. And when I stop taking them but still have a good supply then I'll feed that milk to the baby!

it usually ends up causing tummy trouble in either you or the baby. mostly makes baby gassy

Has he been checked for tongue and lip ties? That could be why he doesn't stay latched. Try power pumping and lots of skin to skin while pumping to help establish your supply. Have you worked with a lactation nurse?

@asiedler, I'm not breast feeding because he won't stay latched. He's on formula right now. I've just been trying to pump to get my supply to come in!

I was told to increase supply to pump on both sides right after nursing I haven't tired it yet though.But it is supposed to trick your body into thinking your baby needs more so it will start to produce more. they said to continue pumping 5 mins after the last drop. Not sure if you tried this yet or not

@kmally, my supply is almost nothing. I get like 20ML after 30mins on each side!!!! Of pumping. Baby won't stay latched. What lactation cookie recipe did you use!?

Personally, they didn't do too much for upping my supply. They just made my guy gassy :( lactation cookies and tea did work for me however.
