Crazy Mom here just switched her OB at 30 weeks pregnant with twins. Don't piss off a pregnant…

Crazy Mom here just switched her OB at 30 weeks pregnant with twins. Don't piss off a pregnant Mom!!!! I struggled and struggled with this decision. A midwife won't deliver me unless I do a home birth (I'm just not comfortable), and a nurse midwife won't because I have twins. My dr (doctors since there's 10 in the practice and they have bounced me between 7 of them), are all pushing for a c section. I was actually told yesterday that it's "more convenient". Since when is giving birth a convenience?!?! After that and not being listened to in my last 3 appointments and being told that I shouldn't be concerned if my twins come now because they can survive, IVE SWITCHED!!!! I am seeing an OB, but she's completely supportive of vaginally delivering (as long as babies cooperate). Don't piss off a pregnant red head!!

I'm so sorry, but good for you for sticking to your guns and not letting them push you into something you don't want to do!

Haha! You shouldn't mess with redheads, especially when we're full of added hormones! I switched doctors too because I was tired of never seeing the same one and they all just acted like they could care less about me and my baby

I'm already having contractions and have been since 21 weeks. The last dr told me it was normal to start contracting then (before they were even viable), and then told me if they come now I shouldn't be concerned. Just because they can survive doesn't mean I want to see my babies like that!!

@twinmommy2016 Some doctors just need to switch professions. Yes, I know you've delivered tons of babies, but I have not. I love my doctor now. I had to see his partner a few times and I cannot stand that woman. She was talking to me about birth control and she recommended that either me or my fiancé get fixed....when I'm only 20 and hes 23, and then the next time she wouldn't even check me to see if I dilated any and I was 39 weeks! I refuse to see her now. I'll wait an extra day or two to see my doctor.

Yeah they keep asking what contraception I'm doing. We did IVF to get pregnant, hell no I'm not taking birth control and I'm not getting fixed just because I'm 29!! Then I got lectured for not getting the flu shot, because I never do and it always makes me sick, or the Tdap shot because I have had a reaction to it in the past. Told me if I don't get it my babies WILL die. Find a new profession because you suck at this one!!

I had this same problem when I was 20 weeks, minus delivering at that point. I switched to a completely different hospital because I don't want an incompetent ass delivering my twins. I'm glad you found one who supports vaginal delivery! I don't know about you but I'm trying to avoid c-section as much as possible. fingers crossed Adam doesn't go back into breech.

They haven't turned yet, but we are only 30 weeks so it could still happen. Just irritating!!

@foreveryoung247, you must not have seen an infant with whopping cough. a good friend of ours spent a month and a half with their 1 month old in the nicu and almost lost her. I too did not get the flu shot, but reconsider the Dtap vaccine.

Thank you for your concern but this is a touchy subject id rather not speak on it and you must not have a child with autism who still at 4 barely speaks among other things and he never get the whooping cough bc I got the tdap with him ...@blondemommy09

@blondemommy09, I received it when my niece was born and had a horrible reaction to it. I was already told if I start vomiting to call immediately and if it doesn't stop I'll be hospitalized. The last time I got the vaccine, I ran a high fever for 4 days and couldn't keep any food down at all. I also broke out in a rash. Not something I want to do at 30 weeks pregnant. But for her to tell me they WILL die? Really? It also has not be studied in pregnant women according to my doctor. She also told me that me getting it does not give them immunity until they have all of their boosters, so they are still at risk. I'm just glad I'm out of there!!

@twinmommy2016 that is pretty nuts that she told you they would die without it. and if you have a reaction to it, then I don't blame you for not getting it, that is why I don't get the flu shot.

I don't get the flu because it's never proven effective against the strain going around.
