So I have a 2 year old that I'm dying to get potty trained before her little brother is born lol. when I take her to the potty she knows what to do and has peed and pooped in her potty. I just can't get her to tell me she needs to go herself... any tips or suggestions from mommies who have been through potty training?

I used to work with 2 year olds sent her potty every 15 minutes and give her a reward even if she doesn't do anything

ok! so I'm assuming the repetition teaches them to tell you before they go eventually?

Get her a pair of undies with her favorite characters on it as a present and let her wet herself a couple times (it's a pain for us but it works) then act surprised like "uh oh we had an accident" and try running her to the potty and show her that's how to avoid the "accidents". It helped with my daughter. Good luck 🙈

I am in the same position! My daughter won't poo on the potty though and won't tell me I have to ask every 15 minutes or so!
