i deal autoimmune problems...and my last reading was similar to urs not toi much just in the high range.
also @nurseriri do you know what this is? it looks to be on the higher end of 'normal' to me. I wish they had better breakdowns on what this stuff is 😕
Im not sure what measurement that's in - I don't have a definitive number in the thousands
@nurseriri, nutriphils were at 85%, whatever that means, let me get the numbers for the wbc
@nurseriri, not at all. No medications whatsoever except for prenatals. Let me check the numbers again, brb

@sarahemccormick, are you taking any steroids? Like for asthma or anything? You have to be severely dehydrated to the point of being hospitalized on IV fluids to have an increase in wbc. Leaving a tourniquet on is very unlikely to cause increase. For anyone to leave that on for an extended time would cut off your circulation and you're alert and oriented to say hey you need to remove that. So that's not the case either. Could be several things including infection or some kind of inflammation. And how high is your numbers? 4000-10000 is within normal limits. Consult your doctor for definite answers.

It happened to me before and they thought leukemia! Two things can cause it. Dehydration or they left the band on your arm longer than one minute while drawing blood. @sarahemccormick
@39surp, really? I had no idea dehydration could cause a high count! I was dehydrated the day prior, but not the day I had this one drawn.
I am, was just reviewing bloodwork results from a few days ago and saw my white cell count and nutrophilic count were pretty high. Not sure what would cause that because I don't have any infection that I know of @bella91

@yummycake, what type of autoimmune problems, if you dont mind me asking? I forgot all about the fact that I have psoriasis (one of the rarest forms, mind you, but its currently in remission and has been for four years or so now!) and thats actually an auto immune disorder.
