I just got a positive test, Sunday. Is it normal to want to sleep all day and then wake up at 4 am everyday at 4w1d? Accepting all advice!

I started taking prenatals when I realized my spotting was implantation bleeding! My OB appointment isn't for two weeks 😑 Congratulations on baby number 5, by the way! @sarahemccormick

All I've been is exhausted. 😪

Sure, the exhaustion can hit you like a ton of bricks very early on. For me, it was the complete opposite. I was plagued by severe insomnia and it was hard to get a restful night's sleep. I also had to pee a lot which wasn't normal for me at about 5 weeks, when I finally took a test. See, I already had four kids, and I was told I couldn't have anymore - that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant ever again because of too much scar tissue in my uterus. Shows how much doctors know! 😊 Congrats and good luck! My advice is to make an appointment to be seen by an OB as soon as possible, to begin getting good prenatal care, and also - begin taking some prenatal vitamins while you wait. They will help tremendously.

Totally normal. Especially if it's your first pregnancy. I would take naps throughout the day and then eat a snack before bed and go to the bathroom too.
