I never thought I would end up being a single mom at 16,but that happened, and with everything going on while I'm pregnant I don't know what I should do, and my mom refuses to let me give him up,but I can't handle this.... anyone else's thoughts?

being a mom is no cake walk. it is hard. but it's the best thing to ever happen to me and I think you might think so too.

It doesn't matter what your mom says. It's your life, not hers.

I have a friend who became a mommy at 15. She had two kids in high school and then another right after she graduated. She had 2 jobs all the time. And mainly has done it on her own since her kids dad is in and out of the picture. She's 22 now. It's very possible. Hard, but possible.

You'll do fine, trust me 😊 Just use your baby as a motivation to do the best you can for you and your baby to be able to give your baby the best. Everyone else doesn't matter.

@netterbug16 I had just gotten out of a mental ward and outpatient clinics when I found out I was pregnant. so I can relate a little. I still deal, with the issues. but I wouldn't trade my daughter for the world. and she saved my life.

I had a friend who was a single mom at 16. She still went to school and graduated with honors at that. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it! And like these ladies said, once that baby is in your arms, nothing else will matter. At times it will be hard, and you will want to give up, but you look at your baby and remember that there is a purpose for everything.

some guys feel that they can run from this responsibility especially when they are still considered Lisa themselves because they don't want to grow up yet. but don't think yourself dumb. decisions can be dumb but you're not dumb. And you have a beautiful little Angel on the way. whether you are 16 or 30 and have your first kid, you will lose friends because some of them will still want that childless lifestyle and you have a child. and sometimes they just werent real friends in the first place. keep your head up darling. rough roads are coming but trust me they have a beautiful sky. if you want to talk you can always message me.

another big problem I have is I'm in and out of mental hospitals because of mental illnesses which makes it harder on me,and all this stress just makes it worse since I ain't got anyone really to talk to,but thanks for the kind comments.

When you have your baby and you hold him/her in your arms , every thing else in the world kinda stops mattering so much . I have a friend who had a baby at 15, the father was in/out of her life , but she loved her little girl more than the world .. And since ur young people ( ur so called friends) are going to give you a hard time about it , but they come along . There are so many strong and beautiful single moms out there , it just means u get to be the mommy and the daddy ! Twice the love for you (: keep your head high , you have a few weeks to go and then the best thing to ever happen to you will arrive . Your life's not over , your just gaining a life time friend who's going to need lots of attention for a little ! Hope this helps ...

I really thought the dad loved me,and would still be with me,but I don't even have friends to talk to anymore, and with everything else I know this is something I can't handle. I go back and forth between crying and screaming. I love my baby, I just wish I hadn't been so dumb in the first place....

You can handle it. Your just in the shock phase, the I can't do this phase, I can't believe this is happening phase...once you get to the acceptance phase, you'll feel more comfortable with it because it's not going anywhere....and you'll have no choice but to accept it and embrace it. Your young, but things happen and life isn't perfect. You can do it.

I don’t have any half moons visible. You can see them when you push my cuticles back,
I have signs of low thyroid but all my “moons” are there except my two pinkies are
I do have vértice ridges, but I’m not deficient. I also wanted to say hangnails can also
