I am truly a paranoid mess. yesterday morning i woke up with UTI symptoms. I thought it was no big deal and that I'd call my doctor to get antibiotics. shortly after the symptoms, I started getting excruciating pain in the middle of my back. I went to the ER, vomiting and in pain. (I have been throwing up several times a day my whole pregnancy, sometimes I go days without eating or drinking) I was prescribed zofran, which I've been refusing to take but I need it, and I was given my antibiotics. I thought the pain was just from the UTI. well I only ended up getting maybe 3 hours of sleep that might because I couldn't stop crying due to the pain. I called my doctor immediately the next morning and told her I needed to come in. I got in, and they did a kidney ultrasound. I don't have stones, but I do have a kidney infection. they believe it happened due to dehydration (since I can't even keep fluids down). I can't even describe the pain I am in. I was given an antibiotic shot, and given hydrocodone for the pain. I don't like taking it, I just have a bad feeling, but it's the only thing that helps. I haven't ate in almost 3 days, and I'm so paranoid that this pain will irritate my uterus and put me in preterm labor. i even woke up with a nightmare about it. I truly don't know what to do. 😓
