I keep hoping that the fact that I'm producing much more colostrum than usual, that I've been breaking out, and that I've been having cold like symptoms (which some women get before labor) are all signs that I'll go into labor soon, but knowing me, it's all just really bad luck. Especially since I was only 1 cm and 30% effaced on Friday. 😔

That could have changed. the Thursday before I had my first child I wasn't dilated or effaced. then that Sunday my water breaks and I'm 2cm and 80% effaced.

the Friday before I had my son I wasn't dilated at all. the next Thursday I went to the hospital with contractions 6-8mins apart (I live an hour from the hospital) they sent me home because I was only a fingertip. 12 hours later I was in full blown labor with them 4 minutes apart & delivered 9 hours after getting to the hospital
