Any tips on handling the terrible twos and remaining sane? I swear my son is pushing me to my limit daily on purpose and he's not even 2 yet. I can usually handle alot, but lately it's like it's never ending rule-breaking, temper tantrums, and screaming at the top of his lungs because he purposely hit his head in frustration... help???

my son is doing the same things as your son! I actually started smacking his little butt every time he hit his head on purpose (it was getting so bad he was getting big red bumps on his forehead and back of his head) and for like 2 weeks he didn't hit his head but like 2 times, and you could see it register, 'oh crap, what did I do'. but he's back to doing it again, time out doesn't work, relax time doesn't work, if he gets a spanking he laughs in my face... and the non-stop screaming for no reason is getting old. and he gets the 'don't touch me' thing too alot. I get that he doesn't communicate when he's upset but he talks very well for his age, he knows hit to tell us he's mad or hurts, he just refuses to when he's throwing a fit. hopefully we can work past it, I tell him to use his words, tell me what you are feeling, and we talk about emotions all the time but I guess it's a work in progress...

My son is the same age as yours and I feel your pain. He's the sweetest nicest little boy and he knows how to behave well. But he chooses not to a lot of the time! He throws raging fits to where he just lays on the floor and SCREAMS for long amounts. He bangs his head on the floor when he doesn't get his way and then he cries about it (like whaaaaa you just did it to yourself?!) he screams at the top of his lungs for no reason, sometimes he doesn't even let us near him during a fit, and he doesn't listen whatsoever either. I could go on and on!!! It drives me nuts especially since I've got a newborn too. But I just figure he's changing and developing and doesn't know how to handle it, and also they get so frustrated because they don't know how to properly communicate in order to get their point across or say what they want...I think that's a big part of why toddlers who can't talk yet act out!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
