I feel so bad 😢 I sent my son to the nursery tonight. I can't seem to get him to latch, he keeps falling asleep on me, and he hasn't eaten since we tried to latch after he was born. I'm just beyond exhausted right now and can't focus. I want my baby boy so badly but I feel useless right now...

get your rest mommy , you deserve it . don't feel down or bad you just birthed a baby you need this time to rest and revamp for baby boy .

@mommacat, just be patient as hard as that sounds , I'm sure a lactation consultant will come by and help you tomorrow just relax and get your rest or at least try your best .

pumping will help bring your supply up. Try getting some out and putting it on your nipple next time you breastfeed. He will taste it and it might help him latch better. Also putting a cool cloth on his forehead will help kerp him awake during feedings. Ask for a lactation specialist to come out in the morning. Get some rest though you both need it and start fresh tomorrow!

You've just gotta be patient girl, it's hard I know. I was the same way at the hospital with my son, he had a hard time latching and it was so frustrating because he wouldn't eat. Just rest and remember it does get easier
