I've not felt baby kick all day. When my husband gets home from work, I'm going to call labor and delivery and see if I should come in. Hopefully he's just sleeping 😣😣
Mine only moves at night I don't feel him all day lol except sometimes I'll feel him really early in the morning
Baby started moving when my husband came home and talked to him. This kid is a daddy's boy for sure 😑 I tried EVERYTHING lol @srkr1191
My doctor told me that too. But he said if the baby doesn't move in hours that I should come in since it's different from counting kicks @mariahabigael
My dr said not to count movements until 28 weeks but it worries me too sometimes I have to just trust him but it's hard lol
I spent an entire day thinking something was wrong when I was pregnant with my first. Sometimes they just chill. Keep moving your belly too. Let us know!
That's what happened to me. I just happened to realize she hadn't moved in hours, which is when I started to freak out. @mommaheathco
@theinkedmommy, I didn't realize the lack of movement until I actually thought about it. When he moves, I usually talk to him and put my hand where he kicks or punches. That makes me aware of his movements so I thought about it and realized its a little strange.
I would definitely take a trip to the ER. Sometimes they're just sleeping, but going all day without movement would give me a heart attack. @mommaheathco
Thank you and I totally understand the mix up lol I drank a soda, drank some hot sauce (gross I know lol), and drank some orange juice. Still nothing though. @theinkedmommy
My apologies, I saw someone say 16 weeks & didn't realize it wasn't the original poster. If you haven't felt the baby all day I'd definitely go to the ER. The same thing happened to me at 27 weeks. I realized from 7 am when I woke up to 12 pm, she hadn't moved at all. So I started drinking sugary drinks & eating sweets & pushing on my belly to get her to move & she still wouldn't. An hour later I finally felt her wiggling around, but if she continued to be completely still I was 5 seconds away from the ER. @mommaheathco It's better to be safe than sorry.
At 16 weeks baby isn't going to be as active as 20+ weeks so I wouldn't worry too much. There were days I felt her, and then days I didn't & she's just fine currently at 28 weeks 2 days.
I'd say give it a few minutes. it didn't happen instantly for me but everyone is different.
I just drank a soda to see if that would help but it hasn't. I'll try something hot and see if that helps. Thank you ladies! @ftm16 @greedypreggo970 @marchmommy16 @srkr1191
sugary things or cold things. om 24 weeks 5 days ans my baby was super active a week ago and then was pretty chill last week so I would drink something sugary and then go lay down in a quiet area to focus on the kicks
I just the some hot cheetos even though I'm only 16 weeks I feel flutters but haven't felt them in 3 days .. I wasn't worried but I ate a few hot cheetos and felt hard flutters
