I dilated to 1 1/2 and I had to be induced because I wouldn't dilate anymore, when I did dilate it was to 4 but no progression after that so I have to have an emergency cesarean and it was scary and overwhelming at first but I didn't feel a thing and within 1 minute I saw my daughter it was the most amazing experience and a cesarean is nothing to be scared of the doctors are trained for it and they know what they are doing. Whether I gave birth natural or not it was the best experience of my life
I'm in the same boat with you.. Although my litros boy has dropped and my cervix is effaced , she actually pushed his head (really hurt! ) when checking.. It's just up to them.. I'm hoping sooner than later!..
I went to the hospital with contractions 8 minutes apart & I was only dilated a fingertip I was back 12 hours later in labor at a 3 I delivered 9 hours later
