My husband practically put me in bed rest. I mean is fine as long as you don't have to stand for to long. Just listen to him I was high risk at the beginning of my pregnancy take it easy

Tell him you'd like to fold the laundry or something if hes willing to clean and dry it im sure if its something you can do while sitting down he will be fine with it
