Does it hurt??!

For me, it was no worse than getting checked. It was the day I turned 39 weeks, went in and asked about it, and then asked if she could do it for me. I started cramping instantly. For about 3 hours, I was cramping, and they got worse. I knew it was time. Got to the hospital around 7pm, I was a 5 already and 90 % effaced. I was a 3 at the Dr. Had him 3 hours later. :)

yikes... Ive heard of it..but it sounds painful :\

its just a process to help start labor.they just scrape the water for the cervix
