So the babies are really big to be twins!!!! And they're both laying sideways in my stomach! Would explain a lot of the pain. But, Baby A has his head down ready to come out, which makes it more possible for a regular delivery, and Baby B is laying on top of him!!! Baby A weighs 4 pounds 11 ounces and Baby B weighs 5 pounds 1 ounce! Unfortunately the only good pictures she got was of Baby Bs foot and the side of his face. They were being stubborn this morning.
Definitely do a lot of research. I would never try to force my opinion on you but I want to say a few things. I hope it's okay. Women's body's are made for vaginal delivery, I know with twins things can change but a lot if twins are born vaginally without complications. I'm terrified too but I'm much more afraid of surgery than vaginal labor and birth. Once you have a c-section it's difficult to have a VBAC. Obviously you'll do what makes you most comfortable, just do a lot of research, ask questions and seek support after. I think you're very brave for wanting a c-section. I'm much to scared to do that. Either way, it will be the best day of your life so it doesn't matter how you get there.
I have super bad anxiety. And I'm afraid if I try natural then something will go bad and they'll have to do it as an emergency which would freak me out and I don't want that to cause any harm. So I'm gonna talk to my doctor about it more. @dontberidiculous
Are you wanting a c-section?
No matter how it goes everything will turn out just fine for you. 💜
@dontberidiculous that's so sweet! I'm so blessed having twins but I'm a nervous wreck. I'm so young and a first time mom but, I know it'll be amazing. And my doctor said last Tuesday if I make it past 37 weeks he's scheduling a c section. I'm so nervous. I'm praying so hard that everything will be okay.
You will work out what is best for you. And with twins, we never really know what's going to happen.
I told my doctor that I want to have my twins vaginally and he supports that plan 100%. I would have switched doctors if he didn't. He said as long as the first baby is head down, we are good to go. I don't want to have major surgery if I can avoid it and have them vaginally. My doctor was there when I had my son 8 years ago and he supported my vaginal labor then after 27 hours when a lot of other doctors would have pushed a c-section. For me, I need to hold my babies the moment they are born, I can't do that with a c-section. I will stick with vaginal unless there is a problem with one of them or the first baby is not head down.
I'm still not sure how birthing will turn out. My doctor might just give me a c section. We've been discussing it.
Thank you for your advice. It's really nice to know other people's opinion. @dontberidiculous
