what are your thoughts on spanking ?

I think that spanking a child is fine , some kids need tough love . I don't believe in abuse obviously but a spank here and there to teach a child a lesson to me is perfectly fine .

It shouldn't be excessive, I was rarely spanked as a child. It's good to discipline the child if they do something they shouldn't have but it shouldn't be used with great force or done over and over

I defintely spank kids don't just react to talking or yelling

I was spanked on the bum when I got into my tantrums as a kid especially if I threw one in public .

now a days how do you not get cps called on you etc?

My thoughts are you should if they are getting out of hand but if your in public you can always just take your child in the bathroom to discipline them

I do spunk my child. In order for your kids to listen to you they need to feel scared of you. If not they will walk all over you.

We don't spank, haven't found a need to yet. It would just make me feel guilty and I would essentially be the one who couldn't handle myself. That doesn't seem like a good example to set.

I spank my two year old every once in a while. I dont like too because he doesnt react like he should. he acts like its nothing. it hurts his feelings more than anythig and I dont want to spank harder as im afraid of actually hurting him. so its become more of a warning to him. he knows if I do it hes about to be in time out for five minutes lol.

I spanked my daughter once when she was 4 she slapped me and told me no she wouldn't take a nap so I smacked her bottom it was the 1st and last time I ever had to do it
