It's really difficult to be excited about this pregnancy as my first child because we are raising Elaina. I don't want her to feel left out or that we don't love her. Help Preggies!
Yeah just make sure you remind her often that she's gonna be a big sister and you're gonna need her help
@robmomma, your welcome! just make her feel involved as much as possible! and @her_plus_her_and_me is right, a gift helps! it helped my son when he got a big brother gift! its amazing how quick kids adapt, my oldest loves the baby and is his protector, which is surprising considering my son has severe ADHD, he is much better then we thought he would be
Try to make it special for her too. Get her a little big sister gift "from the baby" after delivery
thank you @xoxo512070, I am so worried that she will feel like we don't love her but we love her like she is our own!
My son is 9 and its my Fiance's step son pretty much, his father wants nothing to do with him. We were concerned about this as well because my son was the only one for 9 years. We just make sure to always include him in everything not adult like. Like we had him pick out outfits before baby came, he helped set up the babies room. Now we make sure gets equal amount of time from each of us and when baby is napping we both spend time with him to make sure he knows he is still loved and important. We also make sure he is involved with baby now, like holding and feeding when he wants so he feels like an important part of his life. Its just all aboit balance
We got custody of her and her parents are not involved. she calls my husband and I mom and dad. we want her to feel special but this is such a special time for my husband and I. ):
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
