I tore. And she stitched it back too tight. Sex hurts and it took 5 months to heal completely.

I had a fourth degree cut/tear because she had to cut me open. it hurts so bad. Try lay on your side as much as you can as well as use the donut hole. I took tylenol for the swelling as well. sorry mommas, that's never fun.

Also try sitting on a donut hole. It diverts pressure from your stitched area!

They gave me a sits bath and it worked wonders

I haven't torn but have u tried hemorrhoid pads? I absolutely loved them after I had my babies.

I didn't tear but I had an episiotomy. I can definitely tell you that sitz baths work wonders, always keep it clean and dry, and keep your pad changed frequently so it doesn't become infected! Try to take your mind off the pain. I know it hurts but it will pass. If you're lucky like me your stitches will dissolve or fall out in a weeks time.
