been having a really hard time coping with being a single mom with no help or support from my son's father...all he does is bad mouth me to everybody he knows....starting to make me feel really low and I don't know what to do...

Think of it like this, he's the one who left and isn't doing anything to help. You are doing it by yourself, and doing successfully. Even if he bad mouths you everyone knows knows who the good guy is. And it's not his father from what i see! Keep your head up girl it's all going to get better and easier with time(:
