🚨!!RANT!!🚨
My dad got mad at me for applying to jobs that are 3 hours away! He says "Don't you want our help raising your baby" "I thought we were going to do this together!" Like ummm excuse me? No this is my child not yours! I will raise her! I need a better job to do so and if that's moving for a better job I will do so! You can't keep trying to control me I am a parent!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Let me rant to you ladies real quick. I am so tired of peoples reactions to “what do you plan on doing after the baby?” Personally I plan on staying home and raising my daughter🤷🏼 ♀ the reactions I get piss me off! “You’ll have a lot of time on your hands” “ 3 years is a long time to not do school or work” This may be my first child but I do not down play stay at home moms! THAT IS A JOB!

I hope it all works out for you!- Maybe they are just excited about their first grand baby but showing it in the wrong ways?- But definitely do what's best for You and your child! That's what matters at the end. Everyone rather parents or not will always have different opinions but to each parent is their own way of parenting.- I hope you find the job your'e searching for. Right now I'm not working I went thru some stuff right after finding out I was pregnant and my job let me go so I had to move home so I guess that's why she feels she has a say in what I do but she's always been really controlling I guess she's just afraid of me growing up I really don't know because she isn't this way with my younger siblings

A grandparents first grandchild is a HUGE deal, all of their grand babies for that matter! I don't live with my parents, but I will say with all the crazy crap going on in our world, I couldn't be more thankful for my parents and all they do to help me and my family!! They are my babysitters, and they help me more than I deserve. I know it may seem as if they are controlling or whatever, but I promise you will appreciate them in the long run, I just know it :) And I promise, they are just as excited as you are!! :)

aw I know what you mean... you are still their baby tho lol that's the way you have to look at it. BUT if you think moving 3hours away to better your life is the right choice than do it! don't let anyone hold you back.. you just have to think about how much you'll need a support system especially when you get too far along to work anymore. I wish you the best! ☺

My mom is the same exact way ! I don't understand I'll be 21 in January and for the past 2 years I've lived on my own and supported myself it's what I'm used to but when I told her I applied for some jobs that were far away and my mil said she would babysit she got all mad like I'm just trying to do what's best for my baby can't you support that you can't control every single part of my life

I live with them and it is their first grandchild. It's just hard cause my dad tells me what to do 24/7 and acts like he can touch my stomach all the time when he knows how I'm not comfortable with that and he just does it! @shelbysuepippin
