What's VSD? If you don't mind me asking .

If it's a muscular vsd they usually close up on their own. My daughter was diagnosed with two muscular vsds when she was two months old. She had one in two different chambers in her heart. They will just tell you to treat them as normal, keep an eye on their temp if for example your baby randomly gotten a high fever and it wasn't from a cold or they couldn't diagnose anything. The baby should be fine as long the hole/s are small they usually close up by their first birthday. The baby will see a cardiologist every few months to check on it. it's definitely scary, I was stressed out about the holes until they closed at my daughter's 1 year appointment. keep your head up!

hers is a pretty big hole where the 2 ventricles come together not really sure on the specifics until after our appt Tues but by the ultrasound it was pretty big @xxdionxxoo

awe :/ hopefully they can measure the hole. Praying it's either a very small , non life threatening . Don't read anything online until you see the specialist. I swear I was a nervous wreck for a good year constantly reading stuff online about it and constantly worrying about my daughter. I'm surprised they caught it in your pregnancy😐 so early. thanks ladies:) I've been holding myself back from researching it they found in our anatomy ultrasound and my OB is hoping that its a small one that can close either before she is born or within her first year that's what I'm praying for idk what I'm gonna do if she winds up having surgery I've already been through this same thing with my niece and I don't think I can handle going through it with my daughter
