I feel so relieved we are no longer having a gender party. Husband and I decided to buy what it needs 2-3x a month so when the baby comes it's all set. It cost way to much to throw one.

I am only 9 weeks pregnant but my heart its almost settled in not throwing one either.... Its good to see i am not alone!

@cfernandarabello, after we sat down it was going to cost a minimum $300. we feel that's a waste when we can spend that much on the baby or bills. I didn't have one for my other boys..I got tons of hand me downs. I so okay with that

ahhh okay! yeah were only doing a baby shower, but where we are doing it I can hang decorations which saves on that and I'll be cooking baking and making everything else. lol but yeah parties are ridiculously expensive to throw! but I'd rather spend the money than a friend doing it cause I'd rather our friends but things for baby girl instead of wasting it on a party lpl

I agree! To me never made sense when my friends did it! I really think we are not doing it either!

my gender reveal parties were fairly cheap, 😂 but they weren't necessary just fun if you can.
