I'm also a light sleeper when I have my arm around him so every roll or twitch woke me up. I just hope he allows me to do so with the new baby.
@jess_coff, I slept with her last night & I woke up about 4 or 5 times just to make sure she was okay , but I never moved in my sleep.. I guess that's a good sign. Bed sharing just makes breastfeeding so much easier
@xoxoryleigh, I would wake up quite a few times and make sure I wasn't too close to her for the first few days cause I was scared and then she actually slept on my chest for a good 3 months. I got used to having her there and I literally wouldn't move at all in my sleep.
@jess_coff, @lilanne1927 you both bed shared since day 1? My little one is only a week old but she sleeps so much longer when shes by me ... I don't know if I should bed share or not because she's so young
I have since day one. He's 2 now but I plan to invert the crib so we can kinda cosleep with baby #2.
I have since day 1 with my 17 month old and she started sleeping through the night (12 hours) at 6 weeks old. I swear by bed sharing. My poor boyfriend is gonna get kicked to the couch when the new baby gets here lol
I didn't for like the first month because I was paranoid about SIDS but eventually I caved in and I love it. It's more bonding and I feel more at ease feeling him lay next to me and it's easier to nurse him and he sleeps longer with me. My boyfriend works night shifts so normally it's just me and my son but when he doesn't work we all share the bed.
i do with my 3 year old 😪not doing it with this baby.. my daughter have a room she don't used
@audreysmama, have you always done it? I want to bed share and itd only be me and her in bed ...
I do , she sleeps more comfortably and for longer periods when we cuddle
I'm a co-sleeping mama, our Ana slept in our bed till she was 4. Eden will co-sleep too. (when she finally gets here)
