Labor story...

October 20th I went in for a weekly appointment. My due date was October 26th and i was 38 weeks 6 days. I was 3 cm dilated so my doctor sent me straight over to the hospital to start the pitocin drip! He came in at 10:40 am and broke my water and started me on the drip. I was at 6 cm before they gave me the epidural without asking for any pain medication so I was pretty proud of myself! Around 4 I was still at 6 cm so my doctor bumped my pitocin up to 12 and within 30 minutes I went from 6 to 10 cm and ready to push!

I had some trouble pushing so they put me on the oxygen mask but at 4:54 pm I heard the most beautiful sound in the world and so our journey began :)
