It's a old wife's tail. Not true. It has everything to do with your diet and the baby is leaving less room in your stomach causing the muscles to relax and leak the acid into your esophagus

Actually johns hopkins did a study on it and proved it to be true but some people just get heart burn because they already had it before dont eat the right foods etc
