I Am new to this but ... I had him November 3 . He is a month now I love this little guy. His name is Chaise Coleman. I tried breastfeeding didn't quite work out. So now I'm using Evaporated concentrated milk he is doing much better on that than being on the powder milk. Just make sure he gets his vitamins.

Well that's cool I didn't know that! Yeah the formula we get is so expensive too :/ but I started buying it from sams club, and I get double the amount for the same price as Walmart! He will be 1 next month anyways and then he will be on whole cows milk, so I won't have to buy the formula anymore! Lol. Thanks for the info :)
But I do have to add water and he takes the vitamin drops Orally because the evaporated milk doesn't have much iron @rachelt1993
I chose evaporated milk because he was really gassy and crying every time he had a bowl movement he was great with the milk they gave at the hospital but that's to expensive so first I tried gerber gentle then gerber Soy and then gerber soothe. The gerber soothe wasn't to bad.
I tried to breastfeed too, but only lasted 2 months until my milk dried up. :( it is very hard! I thought it was going to be easy lol. And I had no clue that babies could drink evaporated milk! My son just drinks Similac sensitive formula. Why did you choose the evaporated milk? Do you have to add extra vitamins to the milk? Just wondering! :)
I think I might try lactaid and no problem.
