Any mommies up here had an induction without a C-Section and did it naturally (without epi)? If so, this is how I (hopefully) aim for with my birth plan. What was your experience like? Was it worth it without the epi in the end? Any special techniques you used to motivate you to keep going? Sorry if this is so much, FTM and really nervous! (Being induced 41 weeks if she's not out by the beginning of the week of Christmas). 😊
Thanks @rhonda.otero! Definitely makes me feel a little better but I know everyone is different but I haven't had any complications throughout my pregnancy and I'm praying it stays that way all through labor and delivery as well! 🙏💖
I had pitocin with my daughter and no meds.. She came in 15 mins.. No problems at all
Thank you ladies so much, I feel better. 😊💖 @kmally @sammygirl27 @swtlilangl
I'm not entirely sure. Definitely talk with your midwife or ob. With an epidural you're definitely restricted and it can lead to other interventions. I know pitocin can make contractions come quick and hard so it makes it harder than natural contractions.
I had pitocin with both of mine and no pain killers. I was never bed restricted and walked around, used water, and was up right after with no pain.
@kmally, Do those hurt and can you opt for those? & Are you bed restricted with pitocin (if you happen to know). Sorry for the questions just super anxious and nervous! 😥
I was 41 weeks 1 day. They started me on cervical ripeners and I went on my own! No pain meds, no pitocin :) being able to move, be in the shower, and slow dance on hubby were my most comfortable positions! Being able to move and then shower by myself not long after giving birth was AMAZING.
Ahh! Definitely update us on Preggie! I'm soo nervous haha. 😂 And best of luck to you! 😊
You're welcome and you're right it's different for everyone but with my son I didn't know when to push they had to tell me.. With my daughter I got the full experience and my body did it naturally and it was beautiful. I pray everything goes well for you
