@gwright91, metformin regulates your period and your ovulation but if you dont cycle you don't ovulate, let me know how it goes:) period sites online are the best ones to tell to u when you ovulate

@kbuggie20, they gave me the metformin to.regulate my period. I'm going to get a basal thermometer and start tracking.

trust me @gwright91 i had no clue either lol my dr actually told me not too, but i did anyway, get a basal thermometer and take your temp early in the morning after you start when you ovulate it will just up to about 98/99 or a degree, then take ovulation tests when you see it jump, are you taking anything to regulate your period they gave me provera. once you have a cycle get an app and it'll tell you the days to start testing and sperm can live up to 6 days:)

I used preseed also, just didn't work for me:( i have a mild case of PCOS

@gwright91, I'm pregnant with my HSG/metformin baby:D just keep going and track your ovulation it'll work good things come out of metformin

your the second person to tell me about pre seed. I'm going to have to get some!! we have been trying for a year so I'm praying for a positive test!

I have PCOS as well. However I declined the metformin to try to conceive on my own. I went to Walmart and bought this conceiving lubricant called "preseed" I used it twice and was pregnant the next month. It worked wonders for me esp when my doctor said with pcos I couldn't conceive on my own but with this I did!! :)
