Mommies I need relationship advice, To make a long story short Im on my 3rd baby with my partner of 6years. Last week I brought up the "marriage talk" he hits me with "I don't believe in marriage" however I was raised to get married. What would you do??
Well I can agree on some level that marriage is just a piece of paper and I got married in August and nothing has changed in my relationship. We didn't have a big wedding it was just parents and siblings at the court house and no party. But we both forget sometimes that we are married because nothing is really different other than legal stuff and my last name. My dad and his fiancé have been engaged for 16 years this February and my mom got married when she was 17 because she was pregnant with my older half brother and the baby daddy took off a few months later and never came back so my mom is legally still married but even if she wasn't she's been when her boyfriend for 12 years and they won't ever get married because they are perfectly happy with how their life is and there's no pressure or anything like that. So I think as long as you're with the person you love more than anything and it's equal it's not that big of a deal to be married. That's how I was raised. But I would bring it up to him again and let him know how strongly you feel about it.
We have never talked about it really, he asked me to marry him thru a text years ago && I declined. I just don't know if I'm okay with never getting married
My husband said that too before we got married. We ended up getting married right after we had a major fight and broke up he was the one that told me he wanted to marry me. We ended up going to Las Vegas
Save my Teen Marriage
Did anyone watch this Real Life last night? I'm just finishing it up now. It's an interesting concept with the hall pass. Teen marriages have such high failure rates, that I wonder how this "hall pass" will fair for them. I can't honestly imagine a teen marriage surviving this.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I just feel like this Marriage is not worth fighting for anymore! I rather be single and happy then in a marriage and be miserable I just can't do it anymore
You know what's upsetting? I was trying something different (sexually) and it was the most fun I had with my hubby in the 3yrs of marriage...last night I wanted to do it again and he said we would...he said no...I was so upset! I cried, slept on my daughter's bedroom floor for a bit then went back to bed and cried myself to sleep....got my hopes up for nothing! 😔😭
@mrsschutte1323, true it may not change much is just the meaning behind it to me
