I know deep down that I can be a mean person. My personality just isn't as compassionate as it once was. Dude and I argue lately since all he seems to want to talk to me about is computers. I get it that's his passion but I just don't give a shit. It doesn't interest me. I try to fake it but he gets pissy. However if I bring up shit like who do we still need Christmas gifts for he will just answer with some computer shit. Why do I have to take in interest in your hobbies? He doesn't give a tiny rats ass about the stuff I'm into and at times even makes fun of me for it. I don't bring anything like that up to him because I know it doesn't interest him so why the fuck are we still talking about processors and return switches and servers and 4K graphics??

girl, I've been there... its all geeky stuff and none of what we want to talk about. it got to the point where id be ignored for a computer. It ended rather quickly.

A part of me loves that he is such a techie but damn dude this is why you have friends with common interests. I got a friend of his over here yesterday so they could geek out together for hours (putting off working on the future nursery again) thinking i would be off the hook today. Nope. Lol. I'd never leave him but I might take his wallet shopping for awhile...

I know how frustrating it is, try to talk to him and tell him like hey, I know this is your passion and all, but I have them too and its not fair that all we talk about is yours, lets talk about both and see what happens. :)
